Waking Windows is working with Planned Parenthood to present to you Battle of the Bands featuring Bobby Coe and the Hive, All Night Boogie Band, and No Showers on Vacation. Each band will have a 45-minute set and the winning band receives a spot to play at Waking Windows Winooski 2022. There will be an open poll on Instagram that allows you, the crowd, to vote for your favorite performance of the night. Be sure to join us for a night of great music and support all the work that Planned Parenthood does!

All Night Boogie Band is a blues, soul and rock & roll inspired quintet hailing from Burlington, Vermont. With high energy and passion, they display hair raising vocals, searing electric guitar, scorching hot keys, and the tightest rhythm section east of Lake Champlain. The band includes five core members with three horn players (trumpet, saxophone and trombone) that join on occasion to spice up the set! We released our first single at the end of 2021 and are releasing our debut album May 1st, 2022.

No Showers On Vacation is more than a band. It's a group of people playing music together. Those people are Sam Lyons (drums), Alden Nichols (keys), Emmett Lurssen (guitar), Calvin Wuthrich (bass), and Pat Maley (saxophone). The group slowly assembled in Burlington, VT, over 2019 and 2020, and spent the first part of the COVID-19 pandemic recording their debut EP, Bath Time: Miami, followed by an album, AQUABAND. Musically, they sound like the result of dropping a nuclear reactor into a Mario Kart track. Inspired by jazz, funk, rock, hip-hop, and hygiene, the music of NSOV is timely, and yet timeless. It is music whose time has come. That time is now.
