Formed in late 2017, Detective Logan is an electronic dance-punk band from Brooklyn. During a break from touring with baroque-pop band San Fermin, Michael Hanf invited Kate Garfield to collaborate. The two originally met doing performance art in a bank vault during the recession and bonded over their shared nontraditional childhoods. Kate and Michael began collaborating on the songs that eventually became the 2019 debut EP, "SHUT UP”
