Mal Maïz is a vermont base musical group that explore the psychedelic side of the Latin music, Weaving modern and tradicional rhythms from central and South America. The story telling behind each song is design in a poetical way, elaborating the complexity of the myths and legends that one time were part of the oral culture of Central America. You can feel the expression of their art through the fire and passion that ignited from from their hearts. Maiz “Brujo” Vargas started this group 9 years ago at the epicenter of the vermont music scene: Burlington, selecting a group some of the most profesional musicians that Vermont has bring to contemporaneous music Scene.
